Kim reaches base in eight straight games for 12th multi-hit game of the season



San Diego Padres' Kim Ha-seong has reached base three times, extending his hitting streak to eight games.

Kim went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk while batting seventh and playing shortstop against the visiting Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB) at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on June 30.

Kim extended his hitting streak to eight games, dating back to April 22 against the Milwaukee Brewers. He also had his 12th multi-hit game (two or more hits in a game) of the season, raising his season batting average to .227.

San Diego followed up its win the day before (9-2) with an 11-1 victory to extend its winning streak to five games.

Kim hit a clean single to center field in his first at-bat with runners on first and second in the top of the second inning with the score 0-0, 무료고스톱다운받기 but it didn't count as an RBI as the scorekeeper later ruled that the runner from second scored on a throwing error by the center fielder.

After being retired on a grounder to third base in the fourth inning, Kim led off the fifth with a single to left and scored on Brett Sullivan's two-run homer to right. Kim drew a walk in the seventh inning and was stranded on an infield grounder in the eighth.

Kim also did his part defensively, getting involved in two putouts.
